Dr. Holm graduated summa cum laude from Boston University with a degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. She then went on to receive her medical degree and a PhD in Human Genetics at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. Dr. Holm received her surgical training at Harvard Medical School, completing her surgical internship and residency at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital and her fellowship in Endocrine Surgery at Massachusetts General Hospital.
Dr. Holm is board certified with the American Board of Surgery. Her clinical interests include thyroid and parathyroid disease as well as disorders of the adrenal gland. She has expertise in office based ultrasound-guided fine needle aspiration of thyroid nodules as well as minimally invasive parathyroid surgery. Additional clinical interests include melanoma, breast and laparoscopic surgery.
