Newton Wellesley Hospital and Newton Wellesley Surgeons, specifically Dr. P. Von Gryska are great! Very pleased with my surgery experience today.

This practice goes above and beyond in their care for their patients. Dr. Kahan, Dr Gryska specifically – are truly amazing! Will recommend this practice hands down for anything from veins to gallbladders.

I randomly selected Dr. Sentissi from a list of surgeons at NWH based on who had the earliest opening to see me re: having my gallbladder out – I am so happy I did. From the start she put me at ease; was extremely knowledgable, patient, answered all my questions, and made me not dread the surgery at all. I could tell I was in very good hands. She stopped by to see me after the surgery and I could tell she genuinely wanted to know how I felt, she wasn’t just doing it because she had to. If I ever need more surgery I won’t hesitate to go back to her. All thumbs up!

Dr. Sentissi is an excellent surgeon and her staff is excellent too. They were kind, caring and very professional. I got an appointment quickly and didn’t have to wait long to be seen. My legs look great and I’m very happy!

Dr Kahan diagnosed and thoroughly and thoughtfully discussed the different options, including surgery, that I could choose among. His calm and extraordinarily professional approach to a stressful and anxiety creating situation is very much appreciated. He took as much time as necessary to be sure I was comfortable going forward. I’m very grateful for Dr Kahan’s ” bedside manner” and look forward to a complete recovery post-op.

Dr. Kahn has operated on me three times. He is a wonderful man. I always have minimal pain and he is very thorough. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him. He is a very knowledgeable and extremely competent surgeon.

Dr. Kahan has a special gift to connect with his patients I think. At least that’s how I felt. He sticks to science and explains things in plain English and adds his sense of humor to it. I felt extremely safe with him.

Dr Gryska is fantastic, very kind, knowledgeable, and great manner! Especially when I expressed apprehension he slowed down for my benefit. It took 15 minutes longer for a 90-second procedure but Dr Gryska did not make me feel rushed. He allowed me the time to process. Thank you. Great doctor!

I had the RF venous closure with Dr Sentissi. From the time I walked in the door and was greeted by Lisa, to undergoing the procedure with Brenda and Dr S. It was an easy and exceptional experience. Everyone made it so easy and before I knew it, I was done and walking out the door.

Dr. Kahan is warm and caring; he explains a procedure without alarming the patient and does not push to do surgery. However, he does explain the benefits of doing so.

I had been a patient at this practice about 10 years ago. My original surgeon retired several years ago. I called the same phone number with a painful infected cyst on my collarbone and Dr. Kahn, someone I had never even met, came in early the next morning to see me. His work was great and he was very kind and efficient with a wonderful bedside manner. The office staff was amazing. It’s a tad sad however that I’m of the age where I’m recommending surgeons on Google instead of concerts.

Dr Kahan and his team are the best. I went yesterday for him to look at a cyst on my back which he examined and said he could remove today if i wanted. I love that for I am busy with the added bonus of the procedure being painless during and none following. Dr kahan is a real pro!!
